Majlis Takzirah Sambutan Awal Tahun Baru 1434 Hijrah & Meraikan Saudara Baru MKJB

Yesterday,we had a function at Pandan Mosque of celebrating the New Year of Hijrah 1434 in the Islamic Calendar and also welcoming a new sister in the Muslim citizen of Brunei.

Briefing on Discipline

Today we had a talk on Discipline matters in college. All Diploma levels were called to the MKJB Auditorium at 8.30 am. The talk was held by Cikgu Zahrina (Head of Discipline), Cikgu Bohari (Councelor), Cikgu Sofian & Cikgu Pg. Hassani. They discussed some issues that were really bothersome and happening in the college.

The first issue was about the attendance of the students. According to Cikgu Sofian and Cikgu Zahrina, the attendance of the students are pretty much getting worse each day. In one month, the students' must at least have 85% overall of their present days.  But somehow, the funny thing is that from Cikgu Sofian's observation. Almost every Saturday that most students would be absent. Obviously, it is not normal for him and the other teachers too. The students' attendance are one of the serious matters.

The second one was about bullying. Cikgu Zahrina explained that bullying have 3 types which are emotional, verbal & physical. Now bullying is a serious case in the college. To most students, bullying is fun for them. But they didn't realize how serious it is and what it does to other people. So, the teachers take this as a very serious matter and they would take action if such bullying around in the college occurred.

The last one are just some usual minor problems like long & spiky hair, smoking, coming late to class and etc. So that's all for today.

Fire Marshall Course Giving Away Certificates Ceremony

Last Monday we had a ceremony on giving away certificates for those who went for the Fire Marshall Course. It was held on the 19th November at 2 pm at the Audio Visual (AV) Room. All BKP, SR and few students of MKJB hostel attended the ceremony including the guest of honor from the Fire Department and HOD of every Department in MKJB.

Upcoming Exam

Hello, it's been a while since I last posted in here. Won't be posting anything for a while since exam is near. So the past couple of weeks have been revision week.
